Job Title: Senior Web Developer

Location: Fully Remote

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00 an hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, some weeknights and some weekends depending on seasonality.

We are seeking a highly skilled and solutions-driven Senior Web Developer to join our Development Team. This position plays a strategic and technical role in building, maintaining, and enhancing client websites. If you enjoy solving problems with code, mentoring others, collaborating cross-functionally, and delivering clean, high-performing websites-then we want to hear from you!

Primary Job Functions: The Senior Web Developer is responsible for leading and executing advanced web development projects and supporting the development team with technical expertise. While the team specializes in backend development, CSS styling, database management, and launch execution-this role is pivotal in elevating our development processes, tools, and outcomes.

• Develop and implement backend solutions for complex client sites using PHP, MySQL, and custom WordPress functions
• Style and structure the homepage and inner pages using CSS and front-end frameworks based on the design team's mockups
• Manage and troubleshoot DNS, SSL, and database configurations during website launches
• Perform ongoing maintenance tasks, including plugin updates, performance optimization, and issue resolution
• Work within WordPress, utilizing themes, child themes, custom post types, and plugin development as needed
• Integrate APIs to enhance functionality
• Maintain thorough documentation of all development work
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other developers
• Participate in team meetings to report on project progress and technical roadblocks
